The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) is an aggressive new organization that has a laser focus on retention and recruitment of quality companies and jobs for Arizona. The aerospace and defense sector is of one the key strategic areas of focus for state.

The ACA is overseen by a new public-private board comprised of Arizona leaders in business and policy. The board is overseen by Arizona Governor Jan Brewer and co-chaired by Jerry Colangelo, partner of JDM Partners and chairman of USA Basketball. Joining them on the board is a group of prestigious private-sector business leaders, elected officials and university presidents. As a group they are committed to advancing Arizona economically and providing the most comprehensive and business-savvy approach to working with employers.  

Arizona has attracted some of the world’s most forward-thinking aerospace and defense companies and the ACA is focused on continuing to strengthen and build this highly important sector.
